Most leaders already know something needs to shift. The hard part is knowing how organisational design and people have to move together.

I work with C-suite, and senior leaders on operating model and organisational change, and lead the people transition that makes it stick. Where strategy and delivery work as one.

The Work

There are two places I typically come in.

Working with C-suite and functional leaders at the point where business design and people have to meet, redesigning how a business or function works, and leading the transition that makes it stick.

Or stepping into senior HR leadership, as CPO, CHRO or people strategy lead, when that's what the moment needs.

Sometimes both at once. How we work together depends on where you are:

Seeing the System - Organisational Diagnostic

Sometimes something isn't working and nobody can quite see why. Sometimes the direction is clear but the organisation has grown complex, and you can't design what comes next until you understand what exists now.

I get underneath it  how work actually flows, what the structure is really doing , where the pressure points are and bring back an honest picture with a clear way through.

8-12 weeks. Interviews, working sessions, observation, leadership sessions. Clear, actionable output.

Thinking at the Top - Senior Advisory

Not every challenge arrives as a neat programme. Sometimes it's ambiguous, a sense that things need to move but no clear shape yet, and no one internally with the capability to hold it.

This is where I come in. I work at the senior level, looking across the organisation, making sense of what needs to happen and in what order, and then I gather people and drive delivery. High and low. Strategic clarity and hands-on delivery.

The output might be a body of work delivered, a roadmap for change scoped and ready to mobilise, or both. It depends on where you are.

Flexible Timeline  - Retained or project-based, standalone or alongside a wider programme.

Making it Happen - Embedded Transformation

This is the full programme. I come in, get under the skin of what needs to change, design how to get there and then lead it,  adapting as reality hits rather than following a plan that's already out of date.

That might be an HR transformation, future operating model, products and services, systems, team design, talent, consultation and redundancy, transition and embedding. Or it might be a  wider business transformation, where I work across functions and leadership teams, bringing HR and support functions with me to ensure the whole organisation moves together.

Either way I'm in it. Shaping the programme, driving delivery, building the capability that means the change sticks after I leave.

Typically 6 months or more. Flexible shape depending on scope.

Where I come in

Where organisations are when they find me.

Organisations come to me at different moments. Sometimes something isn't working and nobody can quite name it. Sometimes they just need someone to think it through with, and to work out what's possible before anything moves. Sometimes the direction is clear but the path isn't. Sometimes there's just a lot of significant change to get done and not enough internal capacity to hold it. If any of that sounds familiar - let's talk.

“I work at the point where business design and people have to meet. I can go high, strategic clarity, operating model, direction. And I can go low, gathering people, driving delivery, making it stick. Most organisations need both. Few people can hold both.”

Let’s begin the conversation.

Not sure where to start? That’s usually where the most useful conversations begin.

Some clients come to me knowing exactly what they need. Most come knowing something isn’t working, but not quite what, or why. Either way, the first conversation is about understanding where you are. Book a 1:1 consultation, or reach out via the form.
